Greenport Harbor Brewing Company

Greenport, NY

Founded in 2009 by two friends, John and Rich, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company is located in the quaint harbor village of Greenport. As love for the beer grew they quickly realized to continue to supply fans and retailers they were going to need to come up with a way to make more beer. In 2014 they acquired a plot of land in Peconic and once again began to repurpose an old car dealership into what is today a busy production brewery, tasting room and restaurant. Today they are the largest brewery on Long Island producing 100% of there beer locally and employing all Long Islanders. Always fresh, always local, always independent.

Barrier Brewing Company

Oceanside, NY

Barrier Brewing Co. was founded by Evan Klein, and is located in Oceanside, NY. Brewing the first batches on a 1BBL system (2 kegs at a time!) in June 2010, the operation expanded the business to a 5BBL brewhouse in June 2012 which operated for four short months before being severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy. After several months of rebuilding, Barrier reopened in late-February 2013. The brewery currently produces nearly 50 different beers throughout the year totaling 1500BBL annually, all of which is self-distributed throughout the NY metro area.

Continuing the family tradition, Rick Sobotka started brewing at age 15 and crafting beer has been a front-burner hobby since. North Fork Doughnut Co.

Mattituck, NY

Jimmy Lyons and Kelly Briguccia are opening North Fork Doughnut Company on Friday June 2nd in Mattituck. They are the first certified Local To Locals manufacturer and retailer outside the beverage industry. They offer a variety of doughnuts, and will be carrying local coffee from both North Fork Roasting Company, and Sail Away Cold Brew Coffee. Spider Bite Beer Company

Holbrook, NY

Brewmaster and Co-founder Larry Goldstein was born and raised on Long Island. The idea and name, Spider Bite Beer Company, was conceived back in 2008, along with co-founder and friend Anthony LiCausi, after a summer of too many bug bites. During the past year Spider Bite has released a number of beer from the pale ale family, stouts, saisons, and a very well received Wee Heavy. In their first year of business, Robert’s Spider Wee Heavy, coupled with their Eight Legged RyePA and Boris the Spider Russian Imperial Stout, earned them the 2012 FX Matt Memorial Cup for “Best Craft Brewery” in NY State.

Destination Unknown Beer Company

Bayshore, NY

Opened in May of 2015, Destination Unknown Beer Company (DUBCO) began as a small 1 BBL Brewery on the border of Bay Shore and Islip. It has since grown to a 2BBL electric brewery producing a little over 12BBLs a month (400 gallons). Their small scale allows them to produce a wide variety of styles and flavors. This will keep an ever changing line up on tap in the tasting room. They hope to have seasonal favorites you can expect every year with a few other unknowns! The brewery looks forward to meeting more of the community as it grows.

Gun Hill Brewing Co.

Bronx, NY

Founded in 2014 by two friends and baseball teammates, Gun Hill Brewing co was the first production brewery in the Bronx since 1961 when it opened its doors.  With roots deeply entrenched in the Bronx, both founders, Dave Lopez and Kieran Farrell, took great pride in restarting the prolific brewing tradition of yesteryear in the borough.  With all of the breweries beer brewed in the Bronx on a 30 bbl system, Gun Hill is proud to serve the entire state of NY with a wide variety of styles and flavors, including numerous beers featuring local ingredients.
